Amazon MGM Studios reveals New Images for 'The Mighty Nein'

The highly anticipated second animated from Critical Role ‘The Mighty Nein’ is coming next month and Amazon MGM Studios has released new images from the upcoming series featuring its cast of characters.

Joining Critical Role stars Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Travis Willingham, Ashley Johnson, Liam O’Brien, Marisha Ray and Sam Riegel are Mark Strong (Nine Perfect Strangers, 1917), Alan Cumming (The Traitors), Tim McGraw (The Blind Side, 1883), Anika Noni Rose (Princess and the Frog), Ming-Na Wen (The Mandalorian), Auli’i Cravalho (Moana), Rahul Kohli (iZombie), Robbie Daymond (Date Everything!), and Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek: The Next Generation).

In addition to the main members of the cast, it looks like these new images highlight the side characters connected to the journey of our heroes.

Mark Strong as Trent Ikithon. A powerful mage connected to Caleb Widowgast who is responsible for the hero being on the run.

Alan Cumming as Gustav Fletching, owner of the circus that takes in outcasts and lost souls including Mollymauk and Yasha.

Auli’i Cravalho as Toya, a young girl from the circus with a special talent and a potentially terrible secret.

Anika Noni Rose as Marion, an unforgettable and irresistible entertainer and mother of Jester Lavorre.

Tim McGraw as Vandran, captain and mentor to sailor Fjord who has his own secrets to be uncovered.

Ming-Na Wen as Dairon, an intense and highly skilled warrior and spy who serves as a mentor and contact for Beau.

The Mighty Nein follows a group of fugitives and outcasts, bound by secrets and scars. But when a powerful arcane relic known as “The Beacon” falls into dangerous hands, they must learn to work together to save the realm and stop reality itself from unraveling.
