The Rundown: TJ and the kids work on a plan to free their new alien pal while Frank tries to reveal the secret.

TJ’s alien friend is missing and considering the rest of the aliens died the moment they made it to Earth, a living one is a rare find. A rare find that Frank wants to take advantage of as he calls a friend of his at the local television station after taking some pictures of the living alien. At the same time, the kids are getting ready for graduation when they get the call from their grandfather that his friend is missing.

The three discover where the alien is being kept and use their brains to find a way to release him when Frank takes a trip. As TJ and the alien prepare to leave to their new home, something happens that will change everything for the family.

The Story: Soma creates some great drama in this story. The story has some fun moments with the characters and I like the tone of the tension throughout. There is a part of me that is both enjoying the ride, but also yearning to learn more about the character of the alien and why it is still alive. I’m hoping that the story evolves and moves outside of hiding the alien as it continues.

The Art: Broglia delivers great art throughout the story. I love the visual style and how it captures both the light tone of the story and the characters.
