The Rundown: Three heroes from the future meet the Boy of Steel.
After being thrown through a wall, Superboy finds himself facing off against a villain named Epoch who is being attacked by Booster Gold, Mary Marvel and Martian Manhunter. As they battle the creature, he manages to escape and the group discovers that Clark has some blind spots in his memory that they are not allowed to reveal to him.
Clark takes the group back to the farm where his parents take the news well. As Manhunter spends time with Booster Gold after his recent issues, Mary learns more about Clark. Epoch comes to the farm and is confronted again by the heroes, but his escapes reveals that he took something special with him.
The Story: Waid crafts a fun and entertaining story in this issue. The story has some fun and engaging moments for Clark and the other characters and I like the connection to the bigger story of the missing Superman. The story has great action throughout it and I look forward to seeing where the story goes next.
The Art: Partridge creates some beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. I like the look of the story a lot.
