The Rundown: An evil entity emerges and the only one standing against is Mike Denton.

Cindy has been captured by the powerful leaders of the town as is being prepared for a ritual to bring about their dark deity. At the same time, Mike is powerless to stop them as the fist is not working anymore as he hides in the shadows.

The ritual is completed and Cindy becomes the new host for the dark entity and it knows that the weapon that can stop it is close. It sends its minions after Mike who tries to escape as the creatures stalk him. With darkness growing and nowhere to run, Mike will have to find a way to make a stand if there is any chance for the world.

The Story: Remender crafts a dark, thrilling adventure in this issue. There is great action throughout the issue and some awesome suspense in the story with Mike as he deals with the reality of what is happening and his powerlessness to stop it. I really enjoyed the buildup of tension in the beginning of the issue and how it continues through to the cliffhanger ending.

The Art: Epting creates stunning visuals throughout the issue. Every page and panel has something dark, engaging and interesting to see.
