The Rundown: Sophie goes looking for the missing party members as one of them plots against her.

The group has made their way to the Dreaming Lands and have been split up with Sophie, Tommy and Isabelle together while the members turned into Fallen walking with queen of the Dreaming Lands who offers them sanctuary in exchange for their help. Sanctuary that will require them to kill Sophie and the others in order to regain their humanity.

At the same time, Callum is still allied with the vampire who returns with him to his castle and continues to promise him everything he wants in order to get his loyalty. Sophie finds the others and another battle ensues until an unexpected ally arrives to turn the tide of battle.

The Story: Gillen continues to craft a thrilling, engaging and entertaining story in this issue. I love the growing tension between the characters and how Sophie is continuing to come into her own as a character. There’s great action throughout the story and the plot is both compelling and deeply interesting. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

The Art: Hans creates some beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout the issue. I continue to love the look of this series.
