The Rundown: The Thundercats attempt to make peace with the factions on Third Earth, but an old foe and a new threat emerge.

After learning some of the darker truths about the Thundercats and their history with Third Earth, Lion-O and the others decide to make amends and unite the factions of the planet. After his conversation with Calica, Lion-O calls for a meeting on neutral ground and the Thundercats find themselves facing both friends and foes on the path to a possible peace.
As Lion-O gives a speech to the assembled parties, a passing comet forces a dangerous change in the lord of the Thundercats and the others are forced to hunt him down to try and help him. At the same time, Slithe receives a visit from his son and reveals that he is working with Mumm-Ra.
The Story: Pak crafts a dark, thrilling and engaging story in this issue. I like that the story picks up where the last event left off but also creates a story that new readers can jump into quickly. There is a great buildup of suspense throughout the story and I love the moments of tension with Lion-O and the other creatures of the planet. I like the abruptness of the transformation and what it means for the characters and I look forward to seeing where the story goes next.
The Art: Cousens crafts some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art in the issue. I really like the visual style and how it seems to mix in anime and manga influences into the character designs and action.
