The Rundown: Jason Blood fights to stop demons from taking control while an old enemy begs for power.

In Gotham City a vagabond walks the streets. As the world sleeps, he sees the hidden dangers among us as he can see the demons who have infested the world and the people on it. As he fights to free those he can from the demons who have taken them, the voice of one whispers in his brain. A demon who is desperate to be free and promises to help Jason stop the others if only he will let him free on the Earth.
At the same time, Morgaine Le Fay finds her power and life dwindling. After living for centuries, time is starting to catch up with her as she meets with her coven to discuss the corruption they have brought to the world. Knowing she is running out of time, she travels to meet with her master who wants one thing from her, the demon Etrigan.
The Story: Harren creates a dark, thrilling and incredibly entertaining story in this first issue. It has everything required to hook me in story, character and mystery. I immediately want to dive deep into the world of this story and see where it takes me. There’s great action, thrills, humor and more throughout this first issue and I cannot wait to see what happens next.
The Art: Harren creates some beautifully detailed and visually stylish art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this story as well as the character designs.
