The Rundown: More victims of a strange drug prompt Clayface to reach out for help.

The young woman Basil befriended wakes up in a dark location and is greeted by the man who took her and told that he is going to change her life. At the same time, Basil meets with an old friend who is cold to him given their history and brings him back to reality with some hard truths.

After discovering that his new friend has gone missing, Basill sneaks into her apartment and sees that she is the victim of the person he’s hunting. A person who sends a powerful version of himself to stop him before returning to the woman and showing her what he has become.

The Story: Doyle continues to create a story with great tension and thrills. I really love the conflict within the story both with Basil and with the consequences of his choices. I like that he admits to what he cannot do on his own and seeks help. There are some dark and interesting moments throughout the issue and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

The Art: Galan creates some great art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and how it crafts both the character designs and the elements of body horror into them.
