The Rundown: The cats and dogs team up for a daring escape.

Elsie and the other cats are attempting to free Mooch when the Stray Dogs appear in the room. After a tense standoff between the two groups, Mooch is finally freed and communicates with the dogs that the cats are friends. At the same time, the technicians in the lab arrive and try to stop both groups from escaping.

Mooch convinces both sides to help with the help of one of the cats and the group goes on the run. Unfortunately, the infected have also escaped and the facility is on fire. Cut off from escape, one of the researchers grabs the kittens and runs out into the night. The teams work together and make it outside to an uncertain future.

The Story: Fleecs creates a thrilling, entertaining story in this issue. There is wall to wall action throughout the story and a wonderful buildup of tension and suspense. I really enjoyed the character moments throughout the story and the twist towards the end of the issue and what it means for the characters going forward. I love how this arc ends and cannot wait to see what happens in the new one.

The Art: Forstner and Rodriguez create some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and its contrast to the horror of the story.
