The Rundown: Ronnie tries to remember who he is in the face of the fury of Firestorm.

Ronnie Raymond is trying to find out what is happening and to do that, he needs to go back. He thinks back to his childhood. He thinks back on his life and focuses on a clear memory of his first meeting with Professor Stein and the friendship they developed because of it. At the same time, Firestorm continues to sit in the middle of the town as the government watches him.

Ronnie recalls the accident that fused him and Stein together as well as the work they did as Firestorm. As the Firestorm sitting in the town takes a dark turn, the government calls in help to end his threat one way or another.

The Story: Lemire crafts a dark, thrilling and engaging story in this issue. I like taking the story back to the past and seeing Ronnie deal with the reality of the darkness taking over Firestorm. I like the dark, ominous tone of the story and how it builds tension and suspense throughout before the final reveal and what that will mean going forward.

The Art: De Latorre creates some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I really love the final image and what it teases for the next part of the arc.
