The Rundown: Batman and his allies find a strange connection between their shared past and a new threat.
Years in their past, Batman, Green Arrow and Black Canary team up to bring down a group of thugs and find themselves being helped by a new hero in Gotham named Prion. In the present, the trio begin investigating the strange woman and little girl who made their way to the grave of their friend when they receive information that another witness is in danger.
After stopping another potential murder and hiding the witness, Oliver has a meeting with a potential business partner that goes south. A meeting that will bring him face to face with the mysterious girl again who might not be as helpless as she looks.
The Story: Taylor crafts a thrilling, engaging story in this issue. I really enjoy the moments unfolding between Batman and the other characters as well as the mystery being woven in this arc and its relation to their shared past. I am invested in this story and its characters and look forward to seeing where the story goes next.
The Art: Both artists create beautifully detailed and visually exciting moments throughout the issue and I love the bridge sequence a lot as well as the final moments of the cliffhanger ending.
