The Rundown: Diana takes on a living embodiment of her presence on the planet.
Diana continues to battle what she believes is the living embodiment of her presence on the planet and while the fight ends in a draw, she is seriously wounded. After receiving a visit from an unknown woman using magic to attempt to bind her, Diana manages to escape and return home.
After consulting with her friends, she discovers where the entity will appear and goes to meet it. This time, she calls upon help from the Earth goddess and shows her how unbalanced the world is. After receiving her help in her battle, Diana discovers that her next journey will take her to Gotham City.
The Story: Thompson crafts a thrilling, entertaining story in this issue. I continue to love the world being created in this series and how unique and interesting Diana is within it. I love the support system around her and the issue is filled with great moments for her and the other characters. The action is fantastic and I love the interactions being teased both with Zatanna and Batman. I cannot wait to see what happens next.
The Art: Bergara delivers stunning art throughout the issue. Not only do I love the character designs, but the visual style is perfect for the magical elements of the story.
