The Rundown: Nemesis prepares for a new operation, but things might not be as smooth as he thinks they are.

Tepper finds her mission more complicated as not only is she pregnant, but the killer she is impersonating has escaped and is looking for her. Those complications also compromise her mission when one of her teammates attempts to torture a boy in her presence and she steps in to stop him.

Nemesis prepares for the next part of his plan, but an ominous warning shakes his confidence. Things get tougher for him when he loses out on an acquisition his civilian persona desperately needs and a mission to release a chemical weapon goes south when he and his men are ambushed and the villain is forced to attempt to escape only to find his escape plan thwarted again.

The Story: Millar crafts a stunning, thrilling and exciting story in this issue. I not only enjoy the dark twists and turns the story takes, but also the growing conflict with Nemesis as his carefully crafted plans start to unravel in this issue. I like the feeling of uncertainty throughout and especially at the end of this issue and cannot wait to see what happens with the characters in the next one.

The Art: Scalera delivers some beautifully detailed and interesting art that perfectly captures the tone and grit of the story.
