The Rundown: Miller and Raad are in the hands of the Klingons while the survivors look for a means of escape.

Miller and Raad have been captured by the Klingons and are being tortured for information as Miller discovers that the Federation has been using the hidden station to spy on the empire. At the same time, the Romulans are in a standoff with the Klingon ship as DeMatrio and the remaining members of the team manage to get the Arkonian ship out of the swamp and into the air.

The Arkonian ship sports some impressive firepower as both ships target it, but repairing the ship will cost more lives as the Romulans offer a temporary truce with the Klingons in exchange for their Starfleet prisoners.

The Story: Cantwell delivers another thrilling story in this issue. I love that the story embraces the ultraviolence and death red shirts are subjected to in the Star Trek universe and the opening pages showing the dead team members was compelling in what it showed as well as how it is affecting Miller. The conflicts within the story are becoming brilliantly complex and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

The Art: Levens delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I love the imagery and beautifully detailed pages and panels throughout the issue.
