The Rundown: Speed prepares for the toughest race of his life, but sabotage might end his run permanently.

Speed and his team are preparing to qualify for their next race. One that could not only help with Pops medical bills, but will also force him to face the same race that claimed his brother. At the same time, the leader of the Car Acrobatic Team brings in a ringer to win the race while also sabotaging the Mach 5.
As the race begins, Speed pulls ahead and discovers just how dangerous his new rival can be. Speed gets some unexpected help from Racer X on the track, but that might not be enough as the sabotage to the Mach 5 threatens to not only end his race, but could also end his life.
The Story: Pepose ramps up the thrills and excitement throughout this issue. There are fantastic moments of suspense throughout the story and Pepose gives every character some great dialogue and interactions. The action is amazing and you feel the adrenaline and anxiety Speed is feeling throughout the race. I love the tension throughout the story as well and the events within in culminate in a fantastic cliffhanger.
The Art: Tinto delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of the series and how the imagery elicits the feeling of motion and speed.
