The Rundown: Batman and Robin have one last chance to stop Clayface and Two-Face to save the city.
After being thrown from a window, Batman recovers with the help of Robin as Dent and Hagen load up their chemicals to make their escape. As they race through the streets of Gotham, Dent has a plan to poison the city in order to cover their escape.
Batman and Robin are on the move and they discover what the pair are planning. Racing to the scene, Batman and Robin leap into action to bring down the criminals before they can mutate the citizens of Gotham.
The Story: Waid crafts a thrilling, entertaining and engaging story in this issue. The story is filled with great action and thrills and Waid does a fantastic job of bringing the reader back to the early days of the dynamic duo with fun, adventure and high stakes. I really love the resolution of this arc and how it continues to deal with Bruce questioning whether or not to have a sidekick as his presence in the city becomes more public.
The Art: Samnee delivers great art throughout the issue. I think the visual style is perfect for the theme, tone and time of the story.
