Deron GenerallyLuke Cage season 2 is coming from Marvel Studios and Netflix and the subscription service has released some new images showcasing the hero of Harlem and his new mission.
It looks like Luke (Mike Colter) and Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) are still getting coffee together in this pic. Claire has been the connective tissue for most of the Marvel Netflix shows and it will be interesting to see if she can continue to put herself in harm’s way, especially when Luke starts getting more brutal in his fight to clean up Harlem.
Luke is still getting used to his newfound fame and notoriety in this pic as he takes a walk through the streets and gets noticed by the people around him.
Shades (Theo Rossi) and Mariah (Alfre Woodard) return as Mariah decides to go back into business and this time, she’s going to seemingly go legit as she meets with someone with a proposal for her.
Shades is always one step ahead of most of the people he deals with and his desire to get back into his life of crime might be leading him into another confrontation with Luke Cage.
Luke teams up with Misty Knight (Simone Missick) this season and Misty seems to be sporting a brand new cybernetic arm. Is the arm courtesy of the Rand Corporation? We’ll have to wait and find out.
In the midst of his fight for Harlem, Luke is going to encounter a villain that has power that can rival his own.
Luke is going to have to get brutal as he tries to protect Harlem from the plans of Bushmaster (Mustafa Shakir).
It looks like Mariah has found a new ally in Bushmaster.
