The Rundown: Dr. Mayhem settles some old scores as John continues to hide from his past.

A sweet old man finds delight and purpose in reading stories to local children at the library he works at. When the children and their teacher leave for the day, Mr. Burnsmith finds himself alone until a voice from his past brings back the memories of the man he used to be. A supervillain who called himself the Mad Bomber finds himself standing before his former partner Dr. Mayhem who is seeking his own form of justice.

Meanwhile, John laments the fact that the now dead commissioner knew who he was as he returns to his diner to continue his life in obscurity. Unfortunately, events begin to take shape that will force him to confront his old life including the return of a familiar face from the grave.

The Story: Tieri crafts a fun, engaging story in this issue. I continue to be engaged and entertained by the world being created in this series. There are some great character moments throughout the issue and I love the buildup of tension and suspense in the story. The events of the story are building to something interesting and I look forward to seeing what happens next.

The Art: Miranda delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of the series and the character designs are memorable.
