The Rundown: Three terrifying vixens cut a path of destruction through a post-apocalyptic world.

In the distant future, the world has gone to hell and three voluptuous, dangerous women travel the wastes in search of supplies and the violence necessary to procure them. When they stop in the middle of the mountains, they find a van heading their way carrying a group of men they can bring down.
After waiting for the van to stop, the women wait for their moment and descend on the unsuspecting men with an attack that will leave two of them dead and one gravely injured. As they look through their haul, they discover another man who holds the key to a dangerous discovery that the local leader will stop at nothing to have for himself.
The Story: Darrow crafts a darkly fun and entertaining story in this first issue. From the descriptions to the tone of the narration, the story reminds me of the Russ Meyer movies from the 60’s and 70’s like Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill and Motorpsycho. The story has a fantastic tonal aesthetic and ends on a cliffhanger that makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Darrow delivers fantastic visuals throughout this issue. The character designs are amazing and I love the visual style of this issue.
