The Rundown: The Titans find themselves dealing with multiple threats as one of their own is manipulated by an enemy.
The search for Conner continues with Starfire taking to the stars to locate their missing teammate. While she searches, Dick and the rest of the team get back to their investigation of the alien force activating powered agents on Earth. Nightwing has a hunch about who is behind everything as Blackfire watches from space. As she continues to torture Conner on her ship, she receives word that the next part of her plan is about to begin.
Lady Vic returns home and receives a duo of unexpected visitors. One of them being Starfire. When Beast Boy gets an alert, he and Dick discover that people are manifesting powers all over the world. The Titans separate to deal with the increasing threat. With Dick’s plan to depower the victims not working, he quickly discovers why. As they fight off the invaders, Donna will discover that they have some high powered help.
The Story: Scott ramps up the action in this issue. As the pieces of the puzzle come together, the story does a great job of highlighting the characters themselves and their dynamics. The tension in the story is done really well and Scott deftly handles the different storylines with great pacing and dialogue. A fun and entertaining story that culminates into a great cliffhanger ending.
The Art: Luis does some great work with the dynamic nature of these characters. The action is great and the details are brilliant.
