The Rundown: A former cop is brought in to investigate a strange murder.

In the aftermath of a war no one seems to remember, former cop Axel Jindari has left the force and is working in orbit on a mining station. He is called to return to the ship because an investigator has arrived to retrieve him and bring him back to the capitol to investigate a murder. A murder the AI algorithm believes Axel is the perfect person to solve.
With no choice, Axel returns to the planet and begins to help as the system analyzes the remains found at the scene. He travels to the crime scene and is attacked during his investigation. After surviving the attack, he returns with his new partner and discovers something shocking about the victim of this crime and why he was chosen to solve it.
The Story: Guggenheim crafts a thoughtful, engaging mystery in this first issue. I love the sci-fi elements a lot as well as the human story being developed within this expansive and interesting world. I like the main character a lot and I really enjoyed how the story crafts its action and thrills while building suspense to the final reveal in the cliffhanger. I will definitely be picking up the next issue to see what happens next.
The Art: Oezgen creates beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout the issue. I really enjoyed the look of this story.
