The Rundown: Nathan and his group have made their way to a local zoo in hopes of finding a research scientist rumored to be living in the ruins of New York City. Unfortunately, they are going to find more than they bargained for.

At the same time, research into a possible cure for the virus continues and the scientist in charge has to turn off his essential humanity in order to get the work done. When things go south for the group on the planet, it’s going to take the actions of a mysterious little girl and her polar bear pal to rescue the doomed mission.

The Story: Jody Leheup continues to go big, bold and brash with this series and this issue is no exception. The action is fantastic. The dialogue is fun and often funny. The pace of the story is fast and exciting. Everything is getting more interesting both in Nathan’s group and with the other stories surrounding his. This issue was exciting and every twist and turn was unexpected and exciting to witness.

The Art: Nathan Fox has a lot to do with the art in this issue and he executes it with style. All of the art in this issue is exciting and filled with details that move the eye. So much of the story is steeped in action and Fox makes all of those scenes tense and filled with movement.
