The Rundown: Vision and Scarlet Witch hunt the Reaper to shut down his Death Doors.

After Reaper kills Vision, Wanda uses her considerable powers to bring him back. Unfortunately, he is much different and the changes within him cause her to take him to another realm to recover. As he finally comes back to himself, he realizes that he is consumed by emotion but resolved to find and stop the Reaper from opening any more doors.

The pair return and Wanda uses the body of the Reaper to see how he escaped and where he might be. After finding another Death Door, Vision and Scarlet Witch stop the barker enticing people to enter and go int themselves. There they will discover how vast and powerful the place is as well as see a familiar face to Vision.

The Story: Steve Orlando continues to take readers on an emotional journey with these characters and it is an engaging and emotional one. I love that the story doesn’t shy away from the history these characters share and the story is deeply personal for both. I love all the emotional beats with Vision and how the characters support each other. This series has definitely gotten my attention and I look forward to seeing where it goes next.

The Art: Tammetta delivers beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals beautifully capture both the characters and the emotion of each moment.
