The Rundown: Janet Van Dyne’s past is revealed as well as who she has been working for.

The Triskeleon has been attacked and destroyed by HAND while the Ultimates and their forces battle across the world. At the same time, Janet attempts to stop Fury’s forces from killing her husband as the truth of her past floods her mind. As she thinks back on the decisions she made and how those decisions brought her to the attention of Fury she thinks of her husband as she chooses to become a spy.
HAND forces move in on a crash site and discover too late that She-Hulk not only survived the fall from space, but she is ready for a fight. As Fury captures both Janet and Hank, he reveals that his mission doesn’t include either one of them as the real person Janet has been working for reveals itself.
The Story: Camp crafts a thrilling story in this issue filled with twists, turns and betrayals. I loved seeing Janet’s story and her motivations revealed. I like seeing the toll this battle is having on the Ultimates and the story brilliantly ramps up the action, adventure and intrigue to a final reveal that I was not expecting and was thoroughly surprised and excited by.
The Art: Frigeri creates beautifully detailed and visually stunning art throughout the issue. From the action to the character moments, everything looked amazing.
