The Rundown: Corinthian calls in a favor as Agony and Ecstasy meet with their employer.

Flynn and her friend Robbie are surrounded by entities both human and otherwise who want Flynn dead, but they are interrupted by the arrival of the Corinthian. Unfortunately, he is too late to prevent one tragedy, but a thought back to the last moment of his last existence gives him the will to call on his creator, Dream of the Endless.

After ending the conflict, Dream is curious why he was summoned. Corinthian reveals something dark that has a connection to the Dreaming and Dream decides to help his nightmare by visiting his sister to revive someone who might hold the answers. At the same time, Agony and Ecstasy escape to meet with their employer who has a direct connection to the Lord of the Dreaming.

The Story: James Tynion IV does a great job of expanding the universe of the Sandman and crafting a mystery that is both compelling and engaging to the reader. The inclusion of Dream was handled well and the story has both great tension and dialogue throughout.

The Art: Estherren delivers some great visuals throughout the issue. I think the style of the art works really well with the tone and pacing of the story.
