The Rundown: The family works to stop a rogue, dangerous device while an enemy gets closer to finding them.

In the present, one of the family’s neighbors becomes suspicious of the secretive nature of the Rocketfellers. At the same time, Roland is searching the house for the eye and discovers something is living and growing within his daughter and her new pet. His father arrives and the pair attempt to remove the organism after recapturing the eye. When they complete the task, the organism goes rogue and tears through the house.

As each family member arrives at the house, they find themselves in the same mission to recapture the organism when it becomes attached to one of the neighbors. In the future, Raina Rocketfeller is watching the information from the eye and using it to pinpoint where and when her family has fled to.

The Story: Tomasi crafts a fun, funny and engaging story in this issue. The story has some great action throughout and the mystery at the heart of the series continues to unfold in a way that keeps me interested and excited issue after issue. I love that the conflict is becoming more personal and cannot wait to see what revelations come from that conflict.

The Art: Manapul creates some stunning, emotive and highly detailed art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of the series and this issue has some awesome imagery throughout.
