The Rundown: The wayward siblings find themselves in danger the moment they separated.

After rejecting the demons offer at their father’s funeral, the siblings have separated and returned to their lives. Unfortunately, one of them was caught unaware and the rest receive mysterious packages containing something that will unite them all in death and danger.

As each sibling opens their package and discovers the contents inside, they are attacked by demons who want them to fulfill the promise their father made when he sold their souls. An act that will bring them together if only for their mutual survival.

The Story: Bunn continues to deliver a thrilling, dark and intensely entertaining story in this issue. There is a fantastic buildup of tension throughout the story as the characters both receive and open the packages they receive and the story adds some fantastic horror elements in the wake of their discovery. I continue to enjoy the mystery of the series as well and everything that isn’t revealed keeps me engaged and intrigued about what will come out next.

The Art: Joe Bacardo crafts some beautifully dark and detailed imagery throughout the issue. I really enjoy the visual style of this series and the truly horrific visuals that it produces.
