Archie Andrews made his comic book debut in 1941 and for 75 years, audiences have followed the adventures of the teen and his friends in the fictional small town of Riverdale. Warner Brothers Studios and Berlanti Productions have taken the world created  by Vic Bloom and Bob Montana in a new direction with the CW’s new series Riverdale.

Written and Executive Produced by Archie Comics Chief Creative Officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the series is about the iconic characters of Archie, Jughead, Betty, Veronica, Reggie and the rest of the comics cast as they live, love and grow in their idyllic small town. A town that has its own dark secrets buried beneath the surface.

‘Riverdale’ stars KJ Apa as Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Luke Perry as Fred Andrews, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, Ross Butler as Reggie Mantle, Casey Cott as Kevin Keller, Mädchen Amick as Alice Cooper, and Marisol Nichols as Hermione Lodge.

The series will premiere on January 26th and, in a unique twist, will feature an ongoing Riverdale companion comic written by Aguirre-Sacasa with art by Alitha Martinez. The duo will also be releasing a Riverdale One-Shot issue that promises to reveal secrets and stories that happen before the premiere.
