Two of the most ambitious comic book based series on television will be shopping for new networks this fall.

According to multiple reports, SyFy has opted not to renew for Happy! and Deadly Class for their respective third and second seasons.

Happy!, based on the comic book series by Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson is the story of Nick Sax, an ex-cop turned hit man whose life is changed by the appearance of a relentlessly positive animated unicorn named Happy!.

Deadly Class is based on the graphic novel by Rick Remender and Wes Craig and follows the adventures of a homeless teen named Marcus who is thrust into a whole new world when he is sent o an elite academy where the criminal elite train their offspring.

Both series have strong social media followings and this has prompted the producers to seek new network homes for the shows. Hopefully, these comic based shows will land on new networks and given the chance to continue telling their stories.
