The Rundown: The Enterprise continues to battle drones above the planet while Chapel looks for a way to help her friends.

The attack on the ship in space becomes more dangerous for the Enterprise and her crew and Uhura discovers there might be a way to help call off the drone attacks by getting them to attack each other. At the same time, Chapel fights the infected Una beneath the surface while Spock and Scotty find their sub being pulled deeper beneath the icy surface.

Spock and the others discover the device beneath the surface and Spock mind melds with one of the planet’s inhabitants and discovers what happened to them and the planet itself while Christine finds a way to free her friend, but it might be too late for the Enterprise and Una when a ship emerges from the surface heading to space.

The Story: Thompson continues to ramp up the action and thrills throughout this issue. The action is fun and exciting and I love seeing Chapel shine in this issue. There is a great immediacy to the story and while some of the moments feel a little rushed, the story takes some great turns with the characters. I really liked the cliffhanger at the end of the issue and look forward to seeing what happens next.

The Art: Acuna delivers beautiful art throughout the issue. I really like the visual style of the issue and the character designs are fantastic.
