The Rundown: Worf and his away team run into Orion trouble while Spock has to turn to an unlikely ally.
Worf and the away team quickly discover that they have been double crossed by the Orions and have to fight their way out. At the same time, the Defiant discovers that the Orions can see through their cloak and have opened fire on the ship.
When Worf is seriously injured during a firefight, an Orion with her own agenda decides to help with something that gives the Klingon an unexpected boost. At the same time, Spock must turn to someone unexpected in order to prevent a warp core breach on the Defiant.
The Story: Cantwell delivers great action and thrills along with some great moments of dark humor throughout this story. The intrigue within the story holds as much of my attention as the action does and there are elements that I look forward to seeing come together. The story continues to grow and evolve in interesting ways and I look forward to seeing where it goes next.
The Art: Unzueta delivers some beautiful imagery throughout the issue. I love the details in both the characters and their environments and the art beautifully captures the visual style and tone of Star Trek.
