Sony Pictures has released a brand new trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife that includes new footage and a couple of surprise cameos.

From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe.

In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.

The new trailer showcases the special effects and gives some subtle hints at the plot including the return of a familiar looking threat.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Annie Potts and Paul Rudd.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife will premiere in theaters this November.
