Director Ron Howard took to his Twitter account today to announce the title and release date for the Han Solo standalone film.

The director released a short video where he revealed that the title for the new film set in the Star Wars universe would be Solo: A Star Wars Story. This will be the second standalone film from outside the core story after last year’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The film, which will focus on the exploits of a young Han Solo, stars Alden Ehrenreich in the title role along with Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton and Woody Harrelson. Ron Howard is directing the film after the departure of original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller. The director went on to tell audiences that they can expect the film in theaters May 25, 2018.

It’s a befitting title. The first spin-off Rogue one made just over a billion dollars at the worldwide box office. Let’s see what this one can do. Ron Howard directed it so it’s going to be good of course.
