The creator of the critically acclaimed series The Walking Dead is looking to bring another comic book creation to a new medium.
According to reports from The Hollywood Reporter and others, Robert Kirkman is teaming up with the writers of the Despicable Me movies Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio to bring the comic book fantasy Birthright to the big screen. Kirkman will produce the film based on the series by Joshua Williamson and Andrei Bressan.
Birthright centers on the Rhodes family, who tragically have their son go missing. A year later, a grown man comes to the family claiming to be their missing son and takes them on an adventure to discover what really happened to the boy.
