Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland took to Twitter to confirm that the popular animated series would be returning.

Not only will the series be returning, but it has been granted what is being called a “longterm deal” with Adult Swim for 70 new episodes of the series, twice what has already been produced for the network in the series three season run so far. The deal also doesn’t include a specified time frame, so we could be waiting another two years between seasons or longer.

Rick and Morty has a fervent and loyal fan base and the series has become one of the most popular shows in the history of Adult Swim and ranks as the #1 comedy among millennials in 2017 as well as beating established series like The Big Bang Theory and Modern Family.

In order to celebrate the news of the series renewal, Adult Swim is rolling out a multi-city pop up called the Rickmobile for fans. It will start in Atlanta on May 17th and make its way across the country to San Diego Comic Con.
