Deron GenerallyChris Pratt has been deeply involved in bringing the Image Comics series Cowboy Ninja Viking to the screen and now there is news that the female lead for the fantasy adventure has been found.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Quantico actress Priyanka Chopra has been cast as the female lead in the film. She is expected to play the love interest of the lead character played by Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt.
Based on the Image Comics graphic novel by A.J. Lieberman and illustrator Riley Rossmo, the story revolves around a counter-intelligence unit formed by psychotherapist Dr. Sebastian Ghislain who transforms agents known as Triplets, a reference to multiple personalities. Pratt is playing a formidable agent with the fighting skills and personalities of a cowboy, a ninja, and a viking.
Michelle MacLaren (Game of Thrones) will direct the big screen adventure and Universal is expected to release the film June 28, 2019.
