The Rundown: Moon and Pilgrim find themselves in a pocket universe while the identity of the murder victim is revealed.

Archie Gates meets with a friend in the basement room of a building. The same basement where the victim of a recent murder was discovered. Gates talks to the man about his plans for his technology and what will happen once the Powers Act is implemented and Gates gives him a dose of harsh reality about his plans and what they mean for the world. He also brings out something to tempt the man to stay when he expresses interest in leaving.

While Gates is in the interrogation room, the rest of Powers division is stalling for time with his attorney while Pilgrim and Moon check out a lead. Unfortunately, their lead will bring them into a pocket universe controlled by a power who knows she has a connection to not only the victim in their case, but also the murder weapon.

The Story: Bendis continues to craft an engaging and entertaining story in this issue. I really enjoyed the dialogue between the characters and the escalating tension in the story. I continue to enjoy how this world, its characters and its story are evolving and adding new and interesting elements. I love how this issue shifts between both stories and how it brings them to a cliffhanger that makes me intrigued to see what happens next.

The Art: Michael Avon Oeming creates beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and the character designs a lot.
