The Rundown: Birdie and Dom find their mission getting more dangerous as they have more questions about what they are carrying.

Dom and Birdie continue their journey across the deserts of an alternate reality carrying a dangerous cargo that they must protect. After having to stop to repair the rig, they are attacked again by the strange zombie creatures that roam the wasteland.

When they manage to get away, they discover another rest stop and a familiar face inside. A familiar face that not only warns them about the new threat they’ve encountered, but tells them how important their mission really is. A mission that will take a darker turn when their cargo does something new.

The Story: Lemire delivers a great adventure filled with thrills and suspense. The story takes some great twists and turns while revealing more about the world of the story and that suspense comes from pushing Dom and Birdie towards the revealing the truth about their pasts. I continue to enjoy the tension within the story and the final reveal makes me excited to see what happens next.

The Art: Walta delivers some fantastic art in the issue. I continue to love the visual style of the series and how the art engages the reader.
