The Rundown: David is at the mercy of the network, but the artificial intelligence did not account for one thing.

The network has found David and is preparing to eradicate both him and the remaining embryos that he and the robots are hiding. Using Chloe as a means of getting to David, the Network takes his friend and protector and proceeds to use her to break his spirit and will. Unfortunately, there was one thing the network was not counting on.

Deep within its depths, Chloe is fighting a battle of her own. As she becomes one with the network, it learns about her and the evolution within her that made her something more than the machine she was designed to be. Something that just might bridge the final gap between man and machine.

The Story: Origins brings its epic story to a satisfying, if not predictable, conclusion. Chloe’s internal and personal conflicts were always leading to this potentiality, but it doesn’t make the story any more entertaining in how the writers bring this story home. It’s a story that was definitely worth taking the journey to discover.

The Art: Rebelka does some great work with the art in the issue. There are some really interesting and engaging visual moments to be had throughout.
