The Rundown: Rose tries a dangerous trick to escape her fate and Bridgette’s plan runs into a snag.
Lancelot continues to protect the grail castle as he learns about Rose from her mother. At the same time, the Green Knight is confronted by Arthur and after falling, Rose reveals something that helped change her fate. Something that will lead her to a bigger and more powerful destiny as Arthur begins to attack. In the aftermath, Arthur falls and Merlin strikes a deal with Mary.
At the same time, Duncan and Bridgette work on their plan to bring about Lear’s rage. A plan that will undo everything happening to the country. Unfortunately, betrayal could bring an end to their plan before it has a chance to begin.
The Story: A brilliantly thrilling and beautifully crafted adventure filled with awesome twists and surprises. Gillen delivers an impressive tale that is filled with great tension. I love the uniqueness of this story and the fantastic way the characters are utilized. The story is thrilling from start to finish and I cannot wait to see where it goes next.
The Art: Dan Mora delivers some beautifully detailed and stunning art throughout the issue. The depth of the details are stunning and I love moving my eye over every page and panel.
