The Super Powered Fancast

The Arrowverse crossover event is coming this December to The CW and will span across Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl. We’ve already revealed that the event will introduce Batwoman and Gotham into the universe as well as the return of Superman and the first appearance of Lois Lane into the Arrowverse, but now it looks like another casting revelation might add some details to the plot of the event.

According to Deadline, Cassandra Jean Amell (wife of Arrow star Stephen Amell) will be joining the crossover event as well playing a character from DC Comics canon; Nora Fries.

Nora Fries is the wife of Dr. Victor Fries, more commonly known as Batman villain Mr. Freeze in the comics. It’s unclear what role Nora will have in the event, but her presence would seem to indicate that the doctor will have a role to play in the events that bring the Arrowverse together with Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman, Elizabeth Tulloch’s Lois Lane and Ruby Rose’s Batwoman.

Amell has appeared on series like Mad Men, NCIS: Los Angeles, CSI: New York, CSI: Miami and One Tree Hill.

The DC Comics Arrowverse crossover event will air this fall starting December 9th.
