The Rundown: Nemesis is setting up his biggest plan yet and the whole world is the stage.

An apartment building gets a visit from Nemesis and his men and they need to kill the occupants in order to finish the last part of his explosive message to the city of New York. In the aftermath, the CIA calls in one of their best agents to go undercover for an upcoming meeting with Nemesis, but she will have to make a huge sacrifice in order to get close to the villain.
Nemesis continues to live his undercover persona and members of his staff wonder if he is getting too deep into the lie before he decides to move onto the next phase of his plan in Singapore. A phase that will require the blowing up of a train as he waits for first responders to arrive.
The Story: Millar brings this character back in an explosive and thrilling debut. I love that the story jumps immediately into the action and dark humor of Nemesis and his world while also giving hints at elements of drama with the character’s interpersonal conflicts as well as the people hunting him down. I love the dark tone of the story and this issue immediately grabbed my attention so I will definitely be seeing where this story next.
The Art: Scalera delivers some great art throughout the issue. The imagery brings you into the world of this character and the action is visually stunning.
