When it was announced that Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige would be stepping into a galaxy far far away, fans of both franchises were naturally curious to see what Feige would bring to the Star Wars universe. Now it looks like we are one step closer to finding out.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lucasfilm has tapped upcoming Loki series executive producer Michael Waldron to write a new Star Wars feature film that Feige will produce.

Little is known about the project beyond its existence because it seems that the Feige film will be part of a separate tier onto itself. There’s no indication of what this means story wise or where this film would fit in the larger canon of Star Wars stories.
