The series will focus on Robbie Reyes and his struggles to control the powers inside him as he enacts vengeance for the innocent. The series will be executive produced by Ingrid Escajeda, who will serve as showrunner, Paul Zbyszewski and Marvel’s Jeph Loeb.

No word yet on whether Gabriel Luna, who played Robbie on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, but the actor did chime in on the announcement with a Tweet.

Helstrom will feature Daimon and Ana Helstrom, the children of a powerful serial killer, who use their skills to track down the worst of humanity.

The series sounds like it is using the characters Daimon and Satana Hellstrom from the Son of Satan comic book series for this new show. The revelation of the siblings true lineage might be one of the plot points explored in the series. Helstrom will be executive produced by Paul Zbyszewski, who will serve as showrunner and Jeph Loeb.

Both series are being produced by Marvel Television.
