According to a report in /Film, Battlestar Galactica and Longmire star Katee Sackhoff will be joining the cast this season as a character from Dave Folini’s animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Sackhoff will be joining the series as Bo-Katan Kyrze. Bo-Katan was the leader of the Nite Owls, an elite Mandalorian unit before joining the terrorist organization Death Watch. During the Clone Wars, Bo-Katan led her troops during the civil war on Mandalore against the puppet leadership appointed by Darth Maul. Kryze wields the Darksaber and that weapon’s appearance in the hands of Moff Gideon at the end of season 1 could be the reason the character will debut in live action.
Katee Sackhoff has a connection to the character herself, voicing Bo-Katan on The Clone Wars animated series from 2012-2020. Katee Sackhoff can currently be seen in the Netflix sci-fi series Another Life.
