Deron GenerallyJurassic World: Fallen Kingdom opens in June of this year and Universal has announced the release date for the next chapter in the series.
Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow will return to executive produce the third film for Universal and Amblin Entertainment. Producers Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley will return as well to produce. The screenplay will be written by Trevorrow and Emily Carmichael, writer of the upcoming Pacific Rim: Uprising from a story by Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.

The next film in the series Lost Kingdom opens this June so the studio must have a lot of confidence in the performance of the upcoming sequel to announce a third installment this early.
