The Rundown: Patsy takes a trip to the coast for some family business and finds herself in the middle of another family drama.

Patsy Walker needs to get away and finding out that her mother left her a house in San Francisco is the perfect excuse to escape from her complicated personal life with Tony Stark. After meeting up her old friend Hedy, the pair make their way to the house where they decide to stay the night knowing it needs a lot of work.

After a terrifying nightmare, Patsy wakes up to discover Hedy is gone and a struggle in her room prompts her to call Tony for help. Iron Man arrives to find Patsy asleep, but she is awake in a nightmare crafted by an old enemy to trap her. A trap Tony jumps in to help. A trap that reveals something dark within Hellcat herself.

The Story: Cantwell delivers an entertaining standalone story for Patsy in this issue. It does a great job of diving into her complicated family dynamic as well as her past relationships. The story has some great connections to the bigger fight being teased in other titles and allows the character to grow and evolve in a way that should make her connection to those events interesting.

The Art: Coleman delivers some great visuals that beautifully play on the dark tone of the story and its setting.
