The Rundown: The Butcher continues his reign of terror across Hyde Street as one resident learns more about him.

The Butcher has found his next target and it is Miss Goodbody. As he invades her shop, he attacks her and gives her the opportunity to leave so he can begin his hunt. At the same time, Clarissa goes to X-Ray’s office and confronts him about the Butcher and the appearance of his daughter on Hyde Street.

As she talks to him, X-Ray learns more about the Butcher and some of the former members of Hyde Street. He learns that the Butcher has no interest in harvesting souls for the scorekeeper and is more interested in hunting the residents themselves. As Goodbody finally finds the courage to leave her shop, she is confronted by the reason she stays as well as a former resident of Hyde Street who has come out of hiding.

The Story: Johns crafts a story filled with great tension and terror. There are some great moments of revelation throughout the story as X-Ray and the audience learn more about the Butcher as well as other residents of Hyde Street. I love the world building in this issue and how it continues to create new and interesting mysteries to explore in the series. I look forward to seeing where the story goes next.

The Art: Reis creates some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I continue to love the look of this series and its characters.
