Warner Brothers has released the first trailer and footage from the newest film set in the world of Harry Potter.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is the first sequel to the successful Harry Potter prequel Fantastic Beasts and where to Find Them. The new film finds magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) embarking on a new mission to protect the wizarding world from the plans of Dark Wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp). Sending Newt out on this dangerous task is Hogwarts Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) who has his own reasons for stopping Grindelwald.
In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald stars Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Zoe Kravitz and Johnny Depp. It opens in theaters November 16, 2018.
