The second season of Marvel’s Luke Cage on Netflix is almost here and the streaming service wants you to know that they have an all-star lineup in store to entertain the patrons of the fictional Harlem’s Paradise Club that features prominently in the series.

The music of Luke Cage is one of the most important elements of the series and the second season will continue to showcase some of the best musical artists in the world as they deliver the mood to the action and drama of Luke Cage season 2.

The all-star lineup of artists contributing to the music of season 2 includes Rakim (who contributes an original song), KRS-One, Ghostface Killah, Faith Evans, Jadakiss, Stephen Marley, Gary Clark Jr., Esperanza Spalding, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Joi, and DJ D-Nice — with a range of performances inside Harlem’s hottest nightclub, and den of Mariah Dillard’s nefarious deals, Harlem’s Paradise.

Returning to the series for season 2, musical composers Adrian Younge (Black Dynamite) and Ali Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest created the score. Brought to life by the all-star line-up of artists, the performances create the backdrop for many of this season’s emotionally charged, action-packed scenes.
